Short answer
The best ZoomInfo alternative depends on which part of ZoomInfo you use. For contact data with published prices, look at Apollo, Lusha, UpLead and RocketReach. For mobile numbers and European data, Cognism (quote only). For intent and ABM, 6sense or Demandbase (quote only). For identifying website visitors, Dealfront. ZoomInfo publishes no prices, so compare its quote with these at your real monthly contact volume, then test accuracy on 40 accounts you know.
- List what you actually use in ZoomInfo first: contact data, mobiles, intent, website visitors or Chorus.
- ZoomInfo is quote only and its standard license is non-cancellable, so start comparing about 120 days before renewal.
- Convert every plan into your contact mix: a mobile costs 8 Apollo credits, 5 Lusha credits and 1 UpLead credit.
- Four reps needing 600 contacts a month fit Apollo, Lusha, UpLead or RocketReach at list prices from $196 to $400 a month.
- ZoomInfo's license terms promise 95% employment accuracy. Hold every alternative to the same bar in your test.

- Questions people ask
This page is for sales leaders, RevOps managers and founders who pay for ZoomInfo, or were quoted for it, and want to know what else would do the job. Know three numbers before you start: how many people use ZoomInfo, how many contacts each exports a month, and how many of those need a mobile number.
How we compared
Bebop, made by Blackpearl Group, wrote this page and appears in the table as one option. It is not a like-for-like ZoomInfo replacement: you describe the companies you want in plain language, and it finds matching accounts and contacts, researches each account and writes a playbook. It has no intent advertising, website visitor tracking or call recording. Our rules:
- Selection. Each option replaces at least one ZoomInfo job and appears in the ZoomInfo alternatives lists we reviewed from the top search results on 26 October 2026.
- Facts. Every price, plan and credit rule comes from the vendor's own pricing page, terms or filings, read on 26 October 2026. Where a vendor publishes no prices, we say "quote only". We used no third-party price estimates, including for ZoomInfo.
- No hands-on scores. We haven't tested these products head to head, so there are no ratings, just the test we'd want you to run.
- Fairness. For every alternative we say when ZoomInfo is still the better fit.
Which part of ZoomInfo are you replacing?
ZoomInfo sells several products under one contract. Its pricing page lists three sales packages (Professional, Copilot Advanced and Copilot Enterprise), three marketing packages, a Talent product, Chorus conversation intelligence and website chat. Its 2025 annual report says it prices subscriptions on functionality, users and records under management.
| The job | Where it sits in ZoomInfo (26 Oct 2026) | Alternatives to look at | Stay with ZoomInfo if |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contact and company data, emails | Professional and up | Apollo, Lusha, UpLead, RocketReach, SalesIntel, Seamless.AI | Your own test shows ZoomInfo finds more of your buyers |
| Mobile numbers for calling | Professional and up | Cognism, UpLead, Lusha, RocketReach Pro | Your connect rate on ZoomInfo mobiles beats the alternatives |
| Buyer intent, champion tracking, website visitors | Copilot Advanced and up; Streaming Intent add-on | 6sense, Demandbase, Dealfront | Intent drives which accounts your reps work each week |
| ABM advertising | Marketing ABM Lite and ABM Enterprise | 6sense, Demandbase | Marketing runs display campaigns from the same data |
| Call recording and analysis | Chorus | A separate conversation intelligence tool (not compared here) | You use Chorus daily and the bundle price holds |
| Account research before outreach | Copilot account summaries and talking points | Clay, or a research-first tool | Short AI summaries are enough for your reps |
If you only use the first row, the published-price databases below are worth a test. If you use three or four rows, a single cheaper tool rarely covers them all.
What ZoomInfo's own pages say about price
ZoomInfo publishes no list prices. Its pricing page and filings do say how the bill is built:
- Credits. Each package includes monthly credits. Each export of a contact or company profile costs one credit, and deeper data such as technographics costs more than basic firmographics.
- Add-ons. CRM integrations typically have a base cost and a minimum bulk credit purchase. Streaming Intent is priced on the keywords and accounts you track.
- Contract. ZoomInfo's 2025 annual report says subscriptions typically run one to three years, are non-cancelable and are billed in advance. Its license terms leave the term to your ordering document, so the renewal and notice terms are in your order form.
- A free tier. ZoomInfo Lite gives a set number of monthly credits. Its terms say that in exchange, you contribute data from your connected email account to ZoomInfo's database.
For quotes, credits and negotiation in detail, see ZoomInfo pricing explained.

Worked example: four reps, 600 contacts a month
Illustrative example. The company and volumes are invented. Prices are the list prices published on 26 October 2026, before tax, multi-seat discounts or negotiation.
The team: Ledgerline (ledgerline.example) sells accounts payable software to mid-market finance teams. Four SaaS account executives each need 150 new contacts a month with a verified email, and 50 of each rep's contacts also need a mobile number. That's 600 contacts a month, 200 of them with mobiles. Ledgerline's ZoomInfo renewal comes up in four months.
Credits needed each month:
- Apollo: 600 emails × 1 + 200 mobiles × 8 = 600 + 1,600 = 2,200 credits
- Lusha: 600 × 1 + 200 × 5 = 600 + 1,000 = 1,600 credits
- UpLead: 600 contacts × 1 = 600 credits (the mobile is included)
- RocketReach Pro: 600 exports, or 150 per rep (each seat's 3,600 a year averages 300 a month)
- ZoomInfo: 600 exports a month, or 7,200 a year before headroom
| Option | Does it fit? | Billed monthly | Billed annually (per month) | Cost per contact (monthly / annual) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apollo Basic, 4 seats | Yes: 2,200 of 10,000 credits | $260 | $196 | $0.43 / $0.33 |
| Lusha Premium | Yes: 1,600 of 3,400 credits; confirm the seat count covers four users | $399.90 | $299.95 | $0.67 / $0.50 |
| UpLead Essentials, 4 single-user accounts | Yes: 150 of 170 credits per rep | $396 | $296 | $0.66 / $0.49 |
| RocketReach Pro, 4 seats | Yes: 150 of about 300 exports per rep | Not readable on the day | $276.33 ($3,316 a year) | n/a / $0.46 |
| ZoomInfo, Cognism, SalesIntel, Seamless.AI | Quote only | Ask for a price at 4 users and 7,200 exports a year |
Cost per contact is the monthly bill divided by 600: for example, $260 ÷ 600 = $0.43.
What changes the answer:
- Phone mix. If all 600 contacts need a mobile, Apollo needs 600 × 9 = 5,400 credits (still inside 10,000) and Lusha needs 600 × 6 = 3,600, just over Premium's 3,400. UpLead still needs 600, because its credit includes the mobile.
- Accuracy. Suppose one tool returns 10 percentage points more wrong records than another. At 600 contacts that's 60 bad records. If each costs a rep three touches at four minutes, that's 60 × 12 = 720 minutes, or 12 hours a month. At an illustrative loaded cost of $50 an hour, that's $600 a month, more than the gap between any two list prices in the table.
- Bundle value. If reps work from ZoomInfo intent each week, a contact database replaces only part of the contract. Price intent separately before comparing totals.
Work back from your renewal date
ZoomInfo's standard terms make the agreement non-cancellable during its term, so timing matters more than with a monthly tool. This plan assumes your order form auto-renews with a notice period; check yours.
| Days before renewal | What to do |
|---|---|
| 120 | Read the order form: term, renewal clause, notice period, licenses and credits. Pull a usage report showing credits used per user. |
| 110 to 95 | Run the two-week test below, with ZoomInfo as the baseline while you still have access. |
| 90 | Ask ZoomInfo for a renewal quote at your real usage, and get written prices from the alternatives that passed. |
| Before the notice deadline | Decide, and send any notice of non-renewal the order form requires, in writing. |
| 30 | Set up the new tool, map CRM fields and train reps. ZoomInfo's license terms let you keep using data obtained during the term, subject to those terms, but access to the platform ends. |
Run a two-week test on 40 accounts you know
ZoomInfo's data page states 96% email deliverability and 87% mobile number accuracy, its own figures without a published method. This test measures your market instead.
- Days 1 and 2: build a truth set. Pick 40 accounts: customers, recent lost deals and researched targets. For each, list two buyers whose email or phone you know is right because they replied or answered in the last six months. That's 80 contacts.
- Set pass marks first. For example: at least 70% of your buyers found, at least 95% of returned people still employed at the company (the same bar ZoomInfo writes into its own license terms), under 3% hard bounces.
- Days 3 and 4: run the same lookups. ZoomInfo and two alternatives, same accounts, same roles, no names supplied. Free tiers are small (Lusha's 40 credits cover 40 emails, UpLead's trial 5 contacts), so budget one paid month for the tool you're most serious about.
- Days 5 and 6: score every record. +1 for the right person in their current role with a working email or number, 0 for a plausible record you can't confirm, -1 for a wrong person, someone who has left, a bounce or a wrong number. This mirrors GTM-Bench, Blackpearl Group's June 2026 benchmark of AI prospecting systems, where records below its quality bar score -1 so volume can't hide weak results.
- Days 7 to 11: test live. Send your normal first email to 50 new contacts per tool in the same segment, and dial 30 mobiles per tool. Count hard bounces and calls where the right person answers.
- Days 12 and 13: price it. Work out cost per usable contact: the monthly price at your volume divided by the contacts you'd expect to score +1.
- Day 14: decide with the log below in front of you.
Tool and plan tested: Dates: ZoomInfo jobs this tool replaces: [data / mobiles / intent / website visitors / research] PASS MARKS (set before testing) Buyers found: at least ___% Still employed at the company: at least ___% Hard bounces: under ___% TRUTH SET (40 accounts, 80 known contacts) Contacts returned: ___ of 80 (___%) Scored +1: ___ Scored 0: ___ Scored -1: ___ Net score (+1s minus -1s): ___ Employment accuracy: ___ of ___ returned (___%) LIVE TEST Emails sent: 50 Hard bounces: ___ (___%) Mobiles dialed: 30 Right person answered: ___ COST Monthly price at our volume: $___ Cost per usable contact: $___ ÷ (___ contacts × ___% scored +1) = $___ Decision and why:
Best fit and limitations for each alternative
Apollo. Best for: teams that want data, sequencing and a dialer on one self-serve bill, from a free plan up. Limitations: a mobile costs 8 credits, credits don't roll over, and Organization needs three seats on annual billing. ZoomInfo is the better fit if: it finds clearly more of your buyers, or you rely on its intent and marketing products. For more on Apollo, see Apollo alternatives.
Cognism. Best for: teams of five or more that call a lot, especially into Europe. Pro adds intent and on-demand mobile verification, and re-viewing a revealed contact is free. Limitations: quote only, and both plans include five seats. ZoomInfo is the better fit if: your market is mostly North American and you also want its marketing products.
Lusha. Best for: small teams doing quick lookups from a browser extension, with monthly plans that roll unused credits over (up to twice the plan limit). Limitations: a phone costs five credits, and teams of more than five users are asked to contact sales. ZoomInfo is the better fit if: you need intent or bulk enrichment at scale.
UpLead. Best for: small teams that call as much as they email, because one credit covers a contact's email and mobile. Monthly plans have no contract. Limitations: Essentials and Plus are single-user accounts, so team management means the annual Professional plan. ZoomInfo is the better fit if: you need intent and depth across a large team.
RocketReach. Best for: individuals and small teams who want published annual prices, phones from Pro up, and lookups refunded when nothing verified comes back. Limitations: exports are capped per year, intent is only on Ultimate, and we couldn't read monthly prices on the day. ZoomInfo is the better fit if: you need admin controls and intent for a large team.
Seamless.AI. Best for: teams that want to negotiate volume: its pricing page offers unlimited users and bulk credits on quote, and up to 50% of a competitor's remaining contract value in discounts or credits. Limitations: no published prices or credit rules. ZoomInfo is the better fit if: your test shows better accuracy.
SalesIntel. Best for: teams that hate credit limits: it lists unlimited users and unlimited export and enrichment credits. Limitations: quote only, and advanced intent and website visitor tools are add-ons. ZoomInfo is the better fit if: you want intent included rather than bolted on.
Dealfront. Best for: replacing ZoomInfo's website visitor job, with unlimited users and a free Lite tier. Limitations: contact data starts on Activate (from €369 a month billed annually), and prices are in euros. ZoomInfo is the better fit if: outbound contact data is your main use.
6sense and Demandbase. Best for: larger teams running account-based programs on intent, predictive scoring and advertising. Limitations: quote only, longer implementations, and they replace ZoomInfo's marketing products more than its contact database. ZoomInfo is the better fit if: reps mostly need contact data.
Where every option falls short, ZoomInfo included
- Data decays. ZoomInfo's own license terms treat more than 5% of contacts not employed at the listed company as a problem it has 30 days to fix. That tells you how fast records drift. Re-check before big campaigns.
- Accuracy claims are self-reported. Treat every vendor percentage as a claim until your truth set confirms it.
- Compliance stays with you. Buying data doesn't transfer your obligations under privacy and marketing law, and some free tiers ask you to contribute your own contacts.
Stay, switch or split?
Stay with ZoomInfo if:
- Your test shows it finds clearly more of your buyers, with better employment accuracy and connect rates.
- You use its intent, website visitor or marketing products every week, and no single alternative covers them.
- A smaller package at renewal (fewer licenses, credits matched to real usage) closes the price gap.
Switch to a published-price database if:
- You use ZoomInfo mainly for emails and mobiles, and an alternative passes the same test.
- Your usage report shows you buy far more credits than you export.
Split the contract if reps need contact data but marketing needs intent and ABM: a self-serve database plus an intent platform can cost less than one bundle, but price both and count the integration work.
Next step: before you ask for a renewal quote, read ZoomInfo pricing explained for what drives the number and what to put in writing. If you're choosing between the two best-known names, see Apollo vs ZoomInfo.

Questions people ask
What is the best alternative to ZoomInfo?
It depends on which ZoomInfo job you're replacing. For contact data with published prices, Apollo, Lusha, UpLead and RocketReach are the usual shortlist. For mobile numbers and European coverage, Cognism. For intent and ABM, 6sense or Demandbase. For website visitor identification, Dealfront. Test two of them against ZoomInfo on 40 accounts you know, scoring every wrong record as minus one, and compare cost per usable contact.
Is there a free version of ZoomInfo?
Yes. ZoomInfo's 2025 annual report describes ZoomInfo Lite as a freemium product with a set number of monthly credits. Its terms say that in exchange for access you contribute data from your connected email account to ZoomInfo's database, and contributing can earn extra credits. Check your employer's policy first. ZoomInfo's paid sales packages also offer a free trial, though the pricing page doesn't state its length.
What is cheaper than ZoomInfo?
ZoomInfo publishes no prices, so compare its quote with tools that do. On 26 October 2026, Apollo Basic listed $49 per seat a month billed annually, Lusha Starter $37.45 billed annually, UpLead Essentials $74 billed annually, and RocketReach Essentials $27 a month billed annually. For four reps needing 600 contacts a month, Apollo, Lusha, UpLead and RocketReach list prices ranged from $196 to $400 a month.
Who are ZoomInfo's main competitors?
For contact data, Apollo, Cognism, Lusha, UpLead, RocketReach, Seamless.AI and SalesIntel. For intent, ABM and advertising, 6sense and Demandbase. For website visitor identification, Dealfront (Leadfeeder). For enrichment workflows that combine many data providers, Clay. Which one actually competes for your budget depends on the ZoomInfo products in your contract, so list those first, then shortlist two or three to test against it.
Can I cancel a ZoomInfo contract early?
Generally not. ZoomInfo's standard license terms say the agreement is not cancellable and runs for the term in your ordering document, and its annual report describes subscriptions as typically one to three years and non-cancelable. The terms do allow termination for uncured material breach, including if more than 5% of contacts aren't employed at the listed company and ZoomInfo can't fix it within 30 days. Read your order form for renewal notice terms.
