LinkedIn Sales Navigator pricing: what each plan costs, the free trial and Core vs Advanced

Sales Navigator is one of the few sales tools with its prices on the page, yet guides online still quote different figures. Here are LinkedIn's own numbers, what the extra money for Advanced buys, and the arithmetic for choosing monthly or annual billing before your trial ends.

Comparison10 min readPublished

LinkedIn lists Sales Navigator Core at US$119.99 a month or US$1,079.88 a year (US$89.99 a month) per license, and Advanced at US$159.99 a month or US$1,799.88 a year (US$149.99 a month). Advanced Plus is quote only. Core is a single-user plan; Advanced adds team billing, Buyer Intent, TeamLink and Smart Links. Eligible members get a free trial with a card on file. Prices checked 30 October 2026, before tax.

  • Annual billing saves 25% on Core but only 6% on Advanced in US dollars.
  • Annual Core costs the same as nine months of monthly Core, so buy annual only if you'll keep it longer.
  • Advanced costs US$720 a year more per seat than Core on annual plans, and buys team features, not more InMail.
  • Every plan includes the same 50 InMail credits a month, and Sales Navigator doesn't sell extra credits.
  • You can't take the trial while on any paid LinkedIn plan, or within 365 days of another LinkedIn trial.
On this page

This page is for sellers, sales managers and founders choosing a Sales Navigator plan, or deciding whether to renew. It gives LinkedIn's published prices, what each plan includes, the trial and billing rules, the arithmetic for Core versus Advanced and annual versus monthly billing, and a two-week test to run in the trial. If you're still deciding whether to use Sales Navigator at all, start with the LinkedIn Sales Navigator guide.

How we researched this

Bebop, made by Blackpearl Group, wrote this page. Every price and plan detail comes from LinkedIn's own pages: the Sales Navigator plans page (its pricing FAQ is marked updated 27 September 2026), the Sales Navigator versus Premium comparison (updated 1 August 2026), LinkedIn's help center and the Sales Navigator listing on Apple's App Store, all read on 30 October 2026. We didn't use third-party estimates. Pricing guides we read list Advanced at US$169.99 or US$179.99 a month; LinkedIn's page said US$159.99 on the day we checked. LinkedIn calls its listed prices estimates that may exclude VAT or GST and promotional discounts, so the checkout price is the one that counts.

Prices are per license. LinkedIn says Advanced Plus pricing depends on your team's size, CRM integration and onboarding or training needs, and it's bought through LinkedIn's sales team.

Prices in other currencies

LinkedIn publishes four more currencies. The annual discount isn't the same in each, so don't assume 25%:

CurrencyCore monthlyCore annualCore annual savingAdvanced monthlyAdvanced annualAdvanced annual saving

GBP£94.99£959.8816%£130.00£1,499.884%

The saving columns are our arithmetic: one minus the annual price divided by twelve monthly payments.

Prices can differ by device. LinkedIn says slight variations may occur across device types. Apple's App Store listing for the Sales Navigator app shows several in-app prices for Core, from US$79.99 to US$119.99, plus US$799.99 and US$959.99, without saying which apply to new subscribers. Compare the checkout price on desktop and in the app before you buy, and note that LinkedIn says subscriptions bought through Apple are cancelled from the LinkedIn app on an Apple device.

All three plans include LinkedIn Premium Business features, so don't pay for Premium Business as well.

Note on the AI features. LinkedIn's plan table and its help center include Account IQ in Core, and the plan table ticks Message Assist for Core. LinkedIn's Sales Navigator product page says Account IQ and AI message drafts are available only on Advanced and Advanced Plus, in select languages, with drafts in public beta. If either matters to you, check that it appears in your trial before you pay. Account IQ also isn't available for companies with 49 or fewer employees.

Core vs Advanced: what the extra money buys

On annual billing, Advanced costs US$720 a year more per seat than Core (US$1,799.88 against US$1,079.88), or 67% more. On monthly billing the gap is US$40 a month (33% more). The gap is wider on annual plans because Core's annual discount is much bigger.

The extra money buys team features, not more messages. Both plans have the same core search filters (the intent and TeamLink filters need Advanced), the same 10,000 saved leads and the same 50 InMail credits, and LinkedIn says Sales Navigator doesn't sell extra credits. Advanced adds:

  • Team management. Multiple users under one account, with central billing and usage reports. Core is a single-user plan, so a team on Core is a set of separate subscriptions.
  • TeamLink. Shows which colleagues are connected to a lead, so you can ask for an introduction.
  • Buyer Intent. Flags accounts showing interest in your company over the past 30 days.
  • Shared lists, saved searches and Smart Links. Useful when several reps work the same accounts.
  • A CSV upload of your book of business, for recommendations and alerts on accounts you already own.

The rule of thumb: a solo seller buys Core. A team buys Advanced when it will use TeamLink, shared lists or Buyer Intent every week. LinkedIn's FAQ says you can buy up to five Advanced licenses online from a desktop, and once the first is active, a Full Admin adds and assigns licenses in the LinkedIn Admin Center.

Annual or monthly billing?

Annual Core costs the same as nine months of monthly Core (US$1,079.88 against 9 × US$119.99 = US$1,079.91). If you'll keep the seat longer than nine months, annual is cheaper. Annual Advanced equals 11.25 months of monthly Advanced, so it only pays if you're sure you'll keep it for the full year.

The commitment is real. LinkedIn's cancellation policy says annual plans end at the end of the paid year and monthly plans at the end of the current month. Its Premium FAQ says subscriptions, including Sales Navigator, "may be refundable within seven days from the date the subscription is charged without Premium usage." Once you've used it, plan on paying for the term.

A practical path: pay monthly for the first quarter, then switch to annual only on plans where the saving is large. For Advanced, three months at the monthly price costs US$479.97 against US$449.97 at the annual rate, so US$30 per seat buys you a quarter of flexibility.

The free trial

From LinkedIn's plan page and help center:

  • Who qualifies. Members who aren't on any paid LinkedIn subscription (including Premium) and haven't used a LinkedIn free trial in the past 365 days. LinkedIn adds that if you've already used a free Premium trial, you may not be eligible again even after 12 months.
  • Which plans. Core and Advanced. Advanced Plus is bought through LinkedIn's sales team.
  • Payment. A card is required. The trial converts to a paid plan unless you cancel before it ends, and LinkedIn emails a reminder seven days before the end.
  • Length. LinkedIn's trial help page says length may vary by region or promotion, so read the offer before you start.
  • No switching. You can't switch between plans for free during the trial, and if you end a trial early you lose access immediately.

If you're on Premium Business now, you're not eligible for the trial, and Premium InMail credits can't be used in Sales Navigator or carried over.

What an InMail credit costs

Every plan gives 50 InMail credits a month, banking up to 150. Divide the monthly price by 50 and each credit costs US$1.80 on annual Core, US$2.40 on monthly Core, US$3.00 on annual Advanced and US$3.20 on monthly Advanced. Responses lower that: LinkedIn returns a credit for each InMail that gets a response within 90 days. Illustrative: at a 25% response rate, 50 credits a month support about 67 sends (50 ÷ 0.75), or about US$1.35 per InMail on annual Core. The LinkedIn InMail guide explains the credit rules in full.

Sales Navigator vs LinkedIn Premium

LinkedIn's comparison page lists these starting prices:

PlanFrom (USD a month)InMail credits a monthWhat it adds
Premium BusinessUS$69.9915Limited sales filters, AI writing help and message drafts, a year of profile-viewer history
Premium All-in-OneUS$89.9930Limited filters and basic prospect insights, up to 15 prospect suggestions a day, a US$50 monthly post-boost credit and a job promotion credit
Sales NavigatorUS$119.995050+ sales filters, lists, alerts, Account IQ and Lead IQ, plus every Premium Business feature

Premium Business suits occasional prospecting. If you send more than 15 InMails a month or need lists and alerts, Sales Navigator Core is the step up, and it includes Premium Business.

What to pair with Sales Navigator

Sales Navigator finds and follows people. It doesn't export to a spreadsheet, supply verified email addresses or research companies outside what LinkedIn covers. Most teams add a tool for each gap rather than replace it:

JobWhat Sales Navigator doesWhat teams add
Find the right people at target accountsIts core jobNothing
Email addresses and phone numbersShows only what members share on their profile, plus your CRM and teammates' notesAn email finder or contact database; compare them in the best email finder comparison
Research each account and write the first messageAccount IQ for companies with 50+ employees, and Message Assist draftsBebop, US$149 a month with 5,000 credits and a 7-day free trial, researches each account and drafts the first message
Get records into the CRMAdvanced Plus onlyYour CRM's own import, or a data tool's integration

Worked example: a four-person team

Illustrative example. The company, deal values and counts are fictional, to show the method.

Northfield Payroll (northfield.example) has four account executives selling to manufacturers. Its first-year cost for each option, at US list prices:

OptionYear-one cost
4 × Core, monthlyUS$5,759.52
4 × Core, annualUS$4,319.52
4 × Advanced, monthlyUS$7,679.52
4 × Advanced, annualUS$7,199.52

Advanced annual costs US$2,880 more than Core annual for the team. Northfield's gross profit on a new customer averages US$6,000, so the Advanced features pay if they produce 0.48 extra deals a year (2,880 ÷ 6,000): one deal every two years.

In the Advanced trial, TeamLink showed a colleague connected to someone at 9 of the team's 40 target accounts, and Buyer Intent flagged 5. The manager also wanted central billing instead of four expense claims. Northfield chose Advanced, paid monthly for the first quarter (US$120 more than annual for the team) and moved to annual once the team was using TeamLink every week.

Decision guide

If youChoose
Prospect on LinkedIn every week, on your ownCore, monthly at first, annual once you know you'll keep it past nine months
Are on Premium Business and need more than 15 InMails a monthSales Navigator Core, which includes Premium Business features
Run a team that will use TeamLink, shared lists or Buyer Intent weeklyAdvanced; annual saves only 6%, so monthly costs little extra while you decide
Need Sales Navigator data inside Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics or OracleAdvanced Plus, by quote
Mostly need emails and phone numbersA contact data tool; Sales Navigator doesn't supply them
Prospect on LinkedIn now and thenFree LinkedIn or Premium Business

Run a two-week test in the trial

  1. Days 1 and 2: build a truth set. List 30 accounts you want and 60 buyers you already know are right, such as customers and recent conversations.
  2. Days 3 and 4: measure coverage. Build the account and lead searches, then count how many of the 30 accounts and 60 buyers appear with their current titles.
  3. Days 5 to 9: test outreach. Send 20 InMails and 40 connection requests to new people, each with one specific reason for writing. Record responses and credits returned.
  4. Days 10 and 11: test the Advanced features. On an Advanced trial, count how many of your 30 accounts show a TeamLink path or Buyer Intent. If it's very few, Core will do.
  5. Day 12: check the AI summaries. Open Account IQ on ten accounts and check each claim against the company's own site.
  6. Days 13 and 14: decide. Divide the annual cost by your gross profit per deal, pick the plan and billing, and cancel before the trial ends if the numbers don't work.

If your trial is shorter than two weeks, compress the steps; the order still holds.

Next step: once you've chosen a plan, set it up properly with the LinkedIn Sales Navigator guide.
