The cities are those on each 10-K cover, and an Atlanta mailing address isn't always in the city or even in Fulton County: Home Depot, Genuine Parts and Assurant all use the 30339 ZIP code, which lies mostly in Cobb County. Georgia's other two Fortune 500 companies are Aflac, in Columbus, and Mohawk Industries, in Calhoun; the Chamber marks both as outside the metro. Georgia Power's SelectGeorgia site gives the same statewide counts: 16 in the Fortune 500 and 32 in the Fortune 1000.
Fortune ranks companies by its own revenue definitions and fiscal-year cutoffs, so check its site for ranks. The revenue above is each company's own reported figure.

Headcounts are worldwide. UPS's excludes temporary seasonal workers; Home Depot's 472,400 includes about 53,400 salaried associates. Pinnacle Financial Partners, which the Chamber also lists in the Fortune 1000, is a bank whose net interest income and fee income totaled about $2.06 billion, just below this table. Invesco reports $6.38 billion of revenue but doesn't appear on the Chamber's Fortune lists; Fortune applies its own eligibility rules.
What the list says about Atlanta
| Group | Companies in the top 30 | Combined revenue |
|---|---|---|
| Retail and consumer | Home Depot, Coca-Cola, Genuine Parts, Asbury, Newell, Floor & Decor, Carter's | $269.7 billion |
| Transportation | UPS, Delta, Norfolk Southern, Saia | $167.4 billion |
| Financial services and payments | Assurant, ICE, Global Payments, Invesco, Equifax, Corpay, Primerica | $53.4 billion |
| Industrial, building and packaging | PulteGroup, AGCO, Graphic Packaging, SiteOne, Acuity, BlueLinx, Vestis | $51.1 billion |
| Utilities and services | Southern Company, Rollins, Gray Media | $36.4 billion |
| Technology hardware | NCR Atleos, NCR Voyix | $7.0 billion |
Home Depot alone is 28.1% of the top 30's $585.1 billion, and its revenue exceeds UPS's and Delta's combined ($152.0 billion). Transportation is the region's signature: an airline, a parcel carrier, a freight railroad and a trucking company, all with head offices in the metro. NCR, once a single Atlanta company, now appears twice: NCR Atleos was spun off from what is now NCR Voyix, whose segments serve retailers and restaurants.
Local workforces are much smaller than the global totals
The Metro Atlanta Chamber's 2025 survey counts employees in the 29-county region, which puts the 10-K totals in perspective:
| Company | Employees worldwide (10-K) | Metro Atlanta FTEs (Chamber survey) |
|---|---|---|
| Delta Air Lines | more than 100,000 | 42,090 |
| United Parcel Service | about 460,000 | 27,158 (UPS and UPS Supply Chain Solutions) |
| Home Depot | about 472,400 | 19,576 |
| Coca-Cola | about 65,900 | 4,100 |
Delta has about two in five of its people in the region; Home Depot about one in 24. For a seller, the local number decides whether a decision gets made in Atlanta or at a site somewhere else.
Selling to Atlanta's Fortune 500
Expect central procurement, supplier registration and security reviews at all 14. The 10-K is the best map: segment reporting shows which business units have their own budgets, and the properties section lists the campuses and hubs where facilities, food service and workplace spending happens.
Illustrative example. The company, prices and results are fictional; the employee figures are from the Chamber's survey.
Buckhead Onsite Health (buckheadonsite.example) runs on-site employee clinics and wants Atlanta headquarters with large local workforces.
- From the Chamber's survey, Delta (42,090), UPS (27,158 across two entries), Home Depot (19,576), Georgia Power (4,826, part of Southern Company) and Coca-Cola (4,100) employ 97,750 people in the metro.
- If one clinic serves about 3,000 employees and costs $1.2 million a year to run, winning two sites would add $2.4 million in annual revenue.
- The buyer is the head of benefits or total rewards; the real estate team decides where the clinic goes.
Bebop can find the benefits and workplace leaders at each of these companies and draft outreach that reflects what each says about its workforce in its 10-K.
Subject: An on-site clinic at [campus] Hi [first name], With [number] people at [campus], a lot of time goes into getting to a doctor for things a clinic down the hall could handle in 20 minutes. We run on-site clinics for large Atlanta employers, staffed and billed to your plan, with reporting your benefits team can use at renewal. Would a cost model for one site be useful before next year's plan decisions? [Your name], Buckhead Onsite Health
