The 14 biggest public companies in Jacksonville
Each row is from the company's latest annual report on Form 10-K: the headquarters on its cover, revenue as reported and company-wide headcount. The last column is the company's estimated Northeast Florida employees from JAXUSA Partnership's headquarters list (September 2025), where it's listed.
| Rank | Company | Headquarters | Revenue | Fiscal year ended | Employees (10-K) | Northeast Florida (JAXUSA) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Fidelity National Financial | Jacksonville | $14.45 billion | Dec 2025 | 24,535 full-time equivalent | 1,660 |
| 2 | CSX | Jacksonville | $14.09 billion | Dec 2025 | about 23,000 | 2,530 |
| 3 | FIS | Jacksonville | $10.68 billion | Dec 2025 | more than 44,000 | 1,500 |
| 4 | Landstar System | Jacksonville | $4.74 billion | Dec 2025 | 1,378 | 1,320 |
| 5 | Dream Finders Homes | Jacksonville | $4.32 billion | Dec 2025 | 1,911 full-time | not listed |
| 6 | Regency Centers | Jacksonville | $1.55 billion | Dec 2025 | 507 | 230 |
| 7 | Rayonier Advanced Materials | Jacksonville | $1.47 billion | Dec 2025 | about 2,325 | not listed separately |
| 8 | Cadre Holdings | Jacksonville | $0.61 billion | Dec 2025 | 2,533 | not listed separately |
| 9 | Rayonier | Wildlight | $0.48 billion | Dec 2025 | 285 | not listed separately |
| 10 | Proficient Auto Logistics | Jacksonville | $0.43 billion | Dec 2025 | about 825 | not listed |
| 11 | Redwire | Jacksonville | $0.34 billion | Dec 2025 | about 1,410 | 150 |
| 12 | Treace Medical Concepts | Ponte Vedra | $0.21 billion | Dec 2025 | about 450 full-time | 350 |
| 13 | GEE Group | Jacksonville | $0.10 billion | Sep 2025 | about 173 regular | not listed |
| 14 | FRP Holdings | Jacksonville | $0.04 billion | Dec 2025 | not stated | not listed |
Notes on the figures:
- FNF's revenue includes F&G, its annuity and life insurance business; its 24,535 full-time equivalents include 22,790 in title insurance.
- Rayonier completed its merger with PotlatchDeltic on 30 January 2026, so its 2025 revenue and headcount predate the combined company. Its latest quarterly report still gives Wildlight, in Nassau County, as its headquarters.
- Proficient Auto Logistics reports $430 million in operating revenue for 2025 and an operating fleet of about 800 owned assets.
- JAXUSA's figures are estimates drawn from multiple sources. Its two lists don't always agree: the February 2026 large-employers list puts FNF at 1,500 and Landstar at 900.
Headquartered here, employed elsewhere
The two employee columns tell different stories. CSX is a Jacksonville company, but about 89% of its people work outside Northeast Florida, along its rail network. FIS employs more than 27,000 people outside the US, according to its 10-K, and about 1,500 in Northeast Florida. Landstar is the opposite: almost its whole workforce of 1,378 is in Jacksonville, because its freight is sold and hauled through a network of about 960 independent commission sales agents and more than 70,000 third-party capacity providers, mostly trucking companies, rather than employees.
For a seller, that changes the pitch. A Jacksonville headquarters decides corporate purchases here, but services delivered where the employees are (training, facilities, safety, benefits) are bought for a national footprint.
The big private and nonprofit headquarters
Many of Jacksonville's largest local organizations don't file 10-Ks. JAXUSA's headquarters list (September 2025) names them, with estimated Northeast Florida employees:
| Headquarters | What it does | Northeast Florida employees |
|---|---|---|
| Baptist Health | Health system | 12,000 |
| GATE Petroleum Company | Petroleum products | 3,720 |
| Brooks Rehabilitation | Medical rehabilitation | 2,800 |
| Haskell | Design and construction | 2,270 |
| One Call Medical | Workers' compensation services | 1,970 |
| Fanatics | E-commerce retail | 1,700 |
| VyStar Credit Union | Credit union | 1,690 |
| GuideWell Source | Medicare administration | 1,300 |
| Crowley Maritime | Marine transportation and logistics | 1,300 |
| Citizens Property Insurance | Property insurance | 1,040 |
| W.W. Gay Mechanical Contractor | Mechanical contracting | 1,010 |
| Miller Electric Company | Electrical contracting | 1,000 |
Florida Blue (5,700) and AT&T (2,600) run regional headquarters in the city, and Johnson & Johnson Vision (3,500) a divisional one. JAXUSA's list runs to more than 100 headquarters, most of them corporate rather than regional or divisional.
Fortune 500 companies in Jacksonville
JAXUSA Partnership says the region has four Fortune 500 headquarters, and that no other Florida city claims more. Fortune ranks companies by revenue with its own definitions and timing, so use its site for the current list and ranks. By revenue in their own 10-Ks, three Jacksonville companies report more than $10 billion: Fidelity National Financial, CSX and FIS.
Who isn't on the list, and why
| Company | What its SEC record shows |
|---|---|
| Black Knight | Delisted 5 September 2023 and deregistered 18 January 2024 after its acquisition; JAXUSA now lists ICE Mortgage Technology among the region's large employers (1,560) |
| Patriot Transportation Holding | Delisted 21 December 2023 and deregistered 2 January 2024 after its acquisition |
| The Winn-Dixie Company | Not an SEC registrant; JAXUSA lists its headquarters and distribution center with 5,700 employees |
Selling to Jacksonville's headquarters
The local-employee column is the most useful thing on this page for a supplier of on-site services. Four public headquarters (CSX, FNF, FIS and Landstar) employ about 7,010 people in Northeast Florida between them.
Illustrative example. The seller and its figures are fictional; the company figures are from the table.
River City Workplace (rivercityworkplace.example) runs facilities services for corporate campuses: cleaning, mailrooms, conference rooms and cafés.
- The four headquarters above have about 7,010 local employees.
- It assumes companies spend about $1,800 per office employee per year on these services: roughly $12.6 million across the four.
- A single campus of 1,500 people is a contract of about $2.7 million a year.
- It targets the head of corporate real estate or workplace services, and times outreach to lease events and return-to-office changes.
Finding who owns workplace services at each company, and when its leases or contracts turn over, is the slow part; Bebop can find the corporate real estate and facilities leaders at each and research recent changes to their Jacksonville offices.
